SJS Creative Connect Series
Connecting our creative community
At SJS, we believe design is about more than beautiful spaces — it’s about connection, collaboration, and inspiration. That’s why we launched the Creative Connect Series: a curated program of events designed to bring together designers, makers, business leaders, and the wider community.
These gatherings are an opportunity to:
Share ideas and spark meaningful conversations.
Celebrate creativity and innovation in design, art, and lifestyle.
Support local talent and showcase inspiring projects.
Build lasting connections between like-minded individuals.
Whether it’s an intimate panel discussion, a workshop, or an industry networking night, Creative Connect is about fostering a vibrant community where creativity can thrive.

Creative Connect: July Edition
📍 SJS Byron Bay Showroom
📅 July 2025
Our very first Creative Connect event in July set the tone for what this series is all about — bringing together designers, makers, and local businesses for an evening of conversation, inspiration, and community.
The night featured:
A beautifully styled setting inside our Byron Bay showroom.
Guest speakers sharing their journeys and projects.
Networking and collaboration opportunities with a mix of architects, suppliers, and creatives.
Drinks, nibbles, and plenty of lively discussion.
It was a warm, inspiring evening that confirmed the power of creating space for our community to connect. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees walking away with fresh ideas, new contacts, and a stronger sense of belonging in Byron’s creative scene.
