Cottesloe Beach House
Cottesloe Residence:
Step into the Cottesloe Residence—a luxurious and playful haven meticulously designed for a family of four, marking our second collaboration as they embark on a new chapter in their busy lives. To meet their diverse needs for understated luxury and seamless entertaining, we crafted a space that effortlessly caters to casual living and year-round gatherings with friends, family, and business. Inspired by the captivating Aquamarina Quartzite, this home epitomizes contemporary sophistication while remaining deeply connected to its cultural roots
Travertine flutes gracefully adorn the living room, set against an elba marble base, creating a mesmerizing interplay of textures. Embracing sustainability, we integrated existing components, such as beautiful travertine tiles and recycled Tallowwood panels, seamlessly into the design, reducing waste and honouring the original layout.
Furniture, carefully sourced for quality and longevity, includes cherished pieces from the client's previous home, blending seamlessly with new additions. Drawing inspiration from the home's existing elements—the travertine and recycled tallowwood flooring, and a stunning Aboriginal art collection—our design captures abstract forms and a palette of bush pastels.
Solid yet inviting materials echo throughout the home, with classic fluting reprised in various materials, creating a harmonious blend of textures. This repetition, from timber to travertine, glasswork to a custom marble table in the gallery, brings a cohesive and tactile allure to every space.
The Cottesloe Residence is more than a home; it's a curated masterpiece that transcends time, embodying the essence of modern-day living with a touch of timeless elegance. Welcome to a space where every detail tells a story of luxury, playfulness, and enduring beauty.
