Family Oasis Manly

A familiy home in Manly

This Manly home was designed around real family life. Open, generous, and connected, with spaces that flow easily from inside to out.

Our role focused on decoration, beginning the furnishing process early in the build to allow the interiors to be curated gradually and in close collaboration with our clients. Working alongside Platform Architecture, the aim was to soften and balance the architecture, bringing a sense of warmth and joyful energy to the home. Rather than over-styling, the approach was led by intention allowing materials, light and proportion to set the foundation, then layering in furniture and pieces that support the way this young, vibrant family truly lives.

The open living, dining and kitchen zone was treated as one continuous space. Furniture was selected to define moments without interrupting flow, creating a sense of calm while still feeling relaxed and functional. Textures were kept natural and tactile, with a neutral base that allows vibrant colour, art and objects to quietly stand out.

Throughout the home, styling choices were carefully considered equal parts practical and beautiful. Pieces were chosen for longevity, comfort, and everyday use, ensuring the spaces feel lived in rather than staged. From shared family areas through to more private rooms, the focus was always on ease, balance and creating a home that feels settled and personal.

This project reflects our approach to styling family homes. Thoughtful, understated and designed to support real life, not distract from it.
